We just got back from Munnar last morning. we(me and my wife) stayed in Nila-1 in Aranyaka for 2 nights and 3 days and I must say this was the best trip in my life, not exaggerating. Nila-1 is one of the home-stays. It is a bedroom with attached bath with required amenities. The room was extremely well-maintained(actually, bathroom was also disinfected). Nila-1 is right beside Rajesh's house in the same compound a little higher up from the cottages. It has really a great view of the hills surrounding from the room, which I will post here. There were was a waterfall(Attukad) down the hill, which is visible from the resort, not from Nila-1 though, but from the other front-side cottages and you will hear the sound of the waterfall throughout the day. And, of course, the whole place in the greens of nature, specially tea-gardens.
There is a restaurant where you can have your food or you can order in the room. The food is awesome, great taste. The price is a little high though.
They provided sight-seeing in a Renault car. The chauffeur Ganesh is really an efficient guide. He was very helpful and knowledgeable person. He gave us many information about the place.
In the conclusion, I would say, this is the best place to stay and relax, if someone wants to be in touch with the nature and enjoy. It was the best time together we ever had.

We stayed in a cottage which had a direct view of the Attukad Waterfall and a very beautiful view of the tea estates. Very well maintained property and the rooms are very nice and cozy.Excellent service by the staff who are ever smiling. The beautiful surrounding and the hospitality of the Resort staff was just too good. Very convenient location near Munnar city and good food (Both Indian dishes and Chinese dishes are excellent)

We stayed here at Godavari cottage which has 2 separate bedrooms , yet interconnected through dining area , and common balcony surrounded by beautiful beautiful hills , tea gardens, waterfall and natural beauties unlimited . Room service very good , housekeeping v good, b/fast buffet good , cottage furniture needs little up-gradation but that's ok , they have 15 rooms behind in 3 storeys building ,good modern style rooms and toilets but cottage feel will be missing ,though Mr Rajesh gave us the option to shift but we opted to stay at cottage as we were family of 5 and moreover cottage experience was good .

It’s really Fantastic & great resort to stay....Amazing views from balcony that you will always keep in your memory.
Staff is really Friendly especially resort owner Rajesh himself is very caring & taking care of each visitor.
Rooms are very clean & Ambience of this resort is fantastic, Breakfast is very good and delicious...
I will highly recommend this resort to all Especially Narmada Blocks...
I will definitely choose Aranyaka next time whenever I will be visiting munnar.
